Our mission is to support children’s play
We believe that children’s play is both a sign and catalyst for healthier individuals, families and communities. A person’s best memories are often the most simple – a muddy puddle, a tree for climbing, a box fort with friends. We help adults provide opportunities for children to have such experiences now.
We do this by applying principles of the UK-based field of playwork for schools, neighbourhoods, museums, parks, and anywhere else that children can be found. This includes training, resources, and ongoing support for play advocates and child professionals. We weave playwork ethics and practices through all of our work, building relationships with children, colleagues and communities.
Start small, start now, keep going. Let’s change the world together.
